St. Katherine's Cathedral

St. Katherine's Cathedral, situated opposite South Common in Lincoln, is a fully restored Methodist Chapel. Restoration to the building was completed in 2010 and is the Cathedral Church of the Traditional Anglican Church in Great Britain.

It houses a permanent exhibition "St. Katherine's - 900 Years of History" which includes exhibits of archaeology found during excavation work in the area, an illuminated section of  historic examples of building from the earliest times of St. Katherine's Priory and beautifully presented accounts of the history of the site from 1100 to the present day.

St. Katherine's also houses the historic Jardine & Kirtland Grand Organ, originally built for St. Peter's Manchester and funded by Benjamin St. John the Baptist Joule.

The Cathedral opening times are as follows:

Friday: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Sunday 9.30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
